Guidelines
eBall is a virtual experience and takes place on the Web. To "walk" categories:

1. Post your pictures and/or video clips somewhere on the web. There are many web services available, some even hosting for free.

2. Fill out the contestant form, and be sure to give us the correct links. You should provide at least two (2) RELATED links per category you want to walk: one to get your tens, and one (your BEST) for battles and/or tie breaks. Both must be satisfying the category requirements, or your entry will be disqualified. A maximum of three (3) related links are allowed per c

3. Please be aware that guidelines are subject to change, updated as the eBall format continues to develop.

Battle

For each category you want to walk, you must submit two entries: indicate which one is for your "tens", and which one is for the final showdown. As entries are received, your FIRST choice will be posted on-line until the close date.

Divisions

Butch Queens (BQs)- gay males, regardless to which end of the masculine/ feminine scale they choose to identify with (the category specifics determine which way to lean).

Female Figure- regardless to your gender (identity), as long as you are portraying a FEMININE persona.

Femme Queens (FQs)- male-to-female transgendered; from the time you start taking female hormones, you are no longer a BQ.

BQs in Drag- gay males in women's clothes, without taking female hormones.

Women (Females)- biological. This division does not demand a particular sexual orientation, but does lean toward a feminine demeanor.

Butches (Studs)- sometimes referred to as "male illusionists", are generally classified as masculine lesbians, but any female possessing manly appearance and mannerisms can qualify, regardless to sexual preference.

Male Figure- regardless to your gender (identity), as long as you are portraying a MASCULINE persona.

Men (Males)- biological. This division does not demand a particular sexual orientation, but does lean toward a masculine demeanor.

Open To All (OTA)- does not designate gender or persuasion, but you may have to meet other requirements, such as a specific prop or costume.

Judges

All category entries must be received by the due date posted. Judging will take place off-line, and the results will be posted at a date to be announced.

If you are interested in being an on-line judge, send an e-mail to fumamachu@yahoo.com. If you are selected, you will be required to submit a photo. This will be used to create your likeness for the judges' panel (your headshot on an animated body, holding up your scores).

Trophies

Upon winning categories, you will "receive" these online awards, displayed in the eBall Trophy Case. The more you win, the more e-trophies you will have your name "engraved" on, letting others know that you are a force to be reckoned with. No cash prizes will be awarded for categories unless specifically indicated.
